Chapter 13: Clash of Powers. The Battle is Waged.

Uninvited thoughts of her stole across his thoughts, and Shikerou had to banish them just as quickly. How could he be so stupid? He knew the kind of life the warriors of the Empire led - brutal and short. Sitting in his pod on the way back to Barusei reminded him of his last visit, and the incredible pain he endured alongside his new... friend? Kakarotto. Ironically, the thing he most needed to do to survive was focus, and here he was thinking a million thoughts a second. Taking a deep, diaphramatic breath, he watched his thoughts flee his mind along with the air from this lungs. Suddenly, he felt a deep calm, and began to draw his ki inward. He briefly thought of his old sensei, but quickly relaxed and the thought melted away. Focusing again, centering his ki just below his belt, he relaxed his soul's grasp on his body. He could begin to feel the powers of the other fighters around him, and he took heart in their incredible strength. It was exhilerating to be fighting alongside the Ouji, and he soon found himself looking forward to the oncoming battle.

Suddenly, his meditation was interrupted by the pod's collision with Barusei's relatively thick atmosphere.

Keikan's majestic form stood statuesque on a ridge overlooking the Great Black Basin. Darkness wrapped around him like a cloak, as the moon had already set again that night. It seemed the battle would take place there in the massive valley created by several large comet impacts millions of years before this fateful night. The myriad points of light streaked through the starlit Barusei sky like a hail storm of death.

Shikerou lifted his scouting device from the compartment in the side of his pod, as well as a small remote control he was told controlled the pod.

"Chikyuujin." The word was both a greeting and a command for attention. Shikerou glanced up to see Bardok looking down on him from the edge of his pod's crater. It was almost eerie how similar his son Kakarotto looked and sounded to him. Shikerou more than once wondered about their odd high pitched voices.

"Orders from Lord Bejita just arrived." Shikerou slowly flew up to eyelevel with his Squad Leader. "We have to destroy the power plant to the East and get the planetary guns disabled. Try to stay alive Chikyuujin, Izumi speaks highly of you...for a concubine."

Shikerou was caught off guard by that one, it seemed as though his story had been passed around and this was the Saiyajin attempt at humor. Bardok looked at him with that all too common Saiyajin smirk, then strode on his way, Shikerou quickly followed in suit. He thought he could here Bardok chuckle softly.

Reido led one of the most skilled forces in the universe into battle, his and Keikan's personal guard. Each of the four guards boasted a modest level of power, but their skill as fighters was unparalleled. Their destination was the landing site of Bejita's army, a giant billow of dust in the foreground. Close behind the five leaders was the true source of power, one thousand Torajin warriors, half the warriors in the army; they would sweep in and crush the invaders in one swift move, at least that was the plan. Reido was ecstatic, this was his chance to prove himself worthy as leader of the Torajin, perhaps even more worthy than his brother Keikan. He would not fail, he desired the throne and he would have it.

"These Saiyajin underestimate us my brethren, we are mighty, and we shall show them the error of their ways. For honor."

Reido ignited with ki and plunged into the dust cloud, followed closely by his four guards and then by his force, a force to be feared indeed. What he missed were the two trails of dust heading to the East and to the South.

The massive structure shuddered under the intense energy it was consuming from the planet's core. The building was completely alien looking, a giant verticle turbine. The structure loomed ominiously over the mountains to the north. The Saiyajin attack team lay in wait between the two closest peaks to the power plant. Izumi was unsure if this plan would work, Bejita had sent them to the Southern power plant, but without any exceptionally strong warriors. The strongest of the group, Toma, was hardly qualified to lead the team, and yet Bejita had put him in charge. All he said was to wait for his signal, and look to the sky. She hoped this plan would work.

There were only ten of them, and rumored to be inside that power source was the strongest Torajin, Keikan. As she understood it, the Torajin were born with their fighting prowess, sort of into a caste system very similar to the Elite system used by the Saiyajin. Keikan was rumored to have a power of at least 75,000. Izumi clicked on her scouter which beeped several times, a small circle formed in the lense around Toma, and another inside the plant, Keikans it would seem. Toma's reading was only 16,000. The other reading was 65,000.

So Keikan knew how to mask his power, even from scouters, like the technique that the Chikyuujin had used. No Saiyajin in that group possessed the power to challenge him, even Bejita would be hard pressed. Izumi took a deep breath and focused her power, she would need it all and more to survive.

Parukan sensed the powers approaching from the West, and for the first time since the invasion began to feel a bit of trepidation. Three extremely large powers, and one of them was not Saiyajin, Bejita had chosen six powerful warriors to do his bidding, but the three most powerful stood out from the rest. Parukan was not entirely worried, he alone should be enough to handle this attack, even with those three. It was this assumption he made earlier when he chose three strong Torajin to fight alongside, his intent was to take as few as he could away from the main battle, Reido would need every man he could find to stave off the bulk of the Saiyajin force.

Reido's battle cry was heard only seconds before he and the Elite Guard landed amongst a swarm of Neo-Saiyajin warriors, none of whom could compare in power to the strongest of the Torajin army.

The ferocity of Reido's attacks cause the Saiyajin around him to pail and retreat slightly. The cries of their comrades drowned out the sound of the battle, as Reido roared and tore through the flesh of the Saiyajin in his way. Blood covered the fur on his arms to his elbows as Saiyajin dropped to the dusty floor of the Black Basin.

"Break their lines! Bring me Bejita!"

Reido barked orders between roars. These people had dishonored the Torajin by killing those they were sworn to protect. When he was finished with Bejita he would find that Chikyuujin he had heard about, and he would personally tear him limb from limb. His honor required no less, and his rage demanded it.

It was at the end of this thought that Reido came upon a man in black battle armor. He wore a green glass over his one eye, connected to an electronic device on his ear. A scouter Reido thought, and that thought was interrupted as the warrior connected with the first blow, a crushing thrust to the ribs, and a blast of ki energy cradled in the fist. Reido was caught off guard and sent sailing backwards into the thick of battle, a trail of smoke eminating from his royal garb, his army had arrived and now full scale combat was in action. Saiyajin against Torajin, the fearsome claws of the Torajin shredded the armor of the warriors only to find their tenacity blocked by barriers of ki energy. Reido lifted his head and narrowly dodged another assault by this warrior with long black flowing hair. He wore that trademark smirk associated with only the Saiyajin people, he was the first of their kind Reido had ever encountered, this would be his test...

"Saiyajin Warrior." The words acted as a greeting and a realization. "What shall I call you before you die?"

"I am Raditsu."

With that, the Saiyajin rolled his palm forward and fired a blast, Reido quickly shielded his palm, caught it in his hand and crushed it with his own ki. He grinned fiercely revealing his dagger-like teeth.

"I am Reido, and your death."

He clenched his fists in rage and began to gather his energy, in doing so Raditsu's scouter sprang to life reading off numbers. The first to appear was 10,000 and that number began to climb, Raditsu quickly realized Reido was more than a match for him... 20,000 and still climbing...30,000...The glass eye-piece began to crack and the small device exploded. Raditsu barely noticed, as he stared in wonder. What immense power... he thought to himself as Reido continued to gain strength. At only 10,000 at full power, Raditsu didn't stand a chance in hell, but he was a Saiyajin, and would cower before no man, or beast.

Reido let out a fierce howl and his muscles increased in size, his eyes narrowed and he grinned at Raditsu, he power shaking the ground around him and upending boulders...

Raditsu sprang forward into action, praying his battle prowess would prove enough to overcome the insurmoutable odds.

The elite Torajin guard tore through the enemy ranks with extreme precision, no warrior could lay a single blow on any one of them. Although each of the skilled warriors was a terrific fighter on their own, they acted as one. Raikan and Phero had grow up together on Torasei, and they had been groomed to be guards, all those born with their level of power became royal guards, and because of this they knew each other like no other Torajin, bonded since birth they were like brothers.

"Phero, this battle is not quite what I expected. These Saiyajin are far beneath our level of power."

"Yes Raikan this is quite..."

A glimmer of gold light whisked past his eye, a blur for a fraction of a second, then there was only pain, a seering heat and pressure in his chest. His eyes lazily shifted over to Phero, he saw and awed fear fill the face of his friend. Blood trickled from his mouth over his stately white fur on his jaw, staining it a dark crimson. As his head drooped forward he saw the source of his agony, an ivory glove with gold trim burning with ki, melting his flesh around it, and then he felt his head snap back and darkness descend upon him.

Hmph! And these are the mighty Torajin my father spoke of...
Bejita's armor was already stained with blood from the other two Royal Guards, and now the third one lay impaled on his arm...

"Looks like you are all alone now...Phero is it?"

The tiger creature shot a stare of death in Bejita's path, their eyes connected, and Phero saw the smirk rise on the corner of Bejita's lip, that damn Saiyajin smirk. No one looked more evil than their Prince when using it.

"Playing silent are we? Was this your friend?"

Bejita lifted Raikan's corpse into the air, firmly planting his fist in the now hollow chest cavity. Phero was in a state of shock, and could think of a few choice words...

"You bastard! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!"

Bejita only returned a widening smile at the threat, he ignited his fist in ki energy and disintegrated the body of Raikan, when the roar of ki had ceased there was nothing left.

Only then did Phero realize who he was about to fight, the crowned Prince of the Saiyajin, and King of his own Neo-Saiyajin Empire. His own power was no match as Bejita's speed in killing his allies was apparent. He could only rely on his battle skills to preserve him now.

Bejita began a slow walk towards the much larger Phero, all the while thinking...This is not him, I felt a surge in power, and I still feel it, I'm getting close, but this is not the one...

Phero leaped towards Bejita with claws outstretched...

Keikan could feel the immense powers building to the North, and could feel the weaker ones in the mountains as well, he waited silently, alone in the power plant, the massive structure hiding the other half of his army, another thousand Torajin anxiously awaited the arrival of their enemies. They could not feel what Keikan felt, every blow, and power surge. Every brother he had fought alongside for so long dying, he felt everything. He was angry, angrier than he had ever been, the Saiyajin were monsters and must be destroyed, and he knew it was his job to do it, he could feel Bejita's power, he knew it would ultimately come down to them, he close his eyes and whispered...

"Let them come, I am ready."

The sun suddenly broke over the Western Mountains, soon he and the Torajin would lose their advantage of vision at night, and the battle would become even harder.

Reido easily deflected the blows Raditsu attempted to dish out, punches, kicks, aerial manuevers, Raditsu was trying everything in the book, and for every attack Reido had a counter. He was testing the Saiyajin, testing his limits, testing how much power these beings possessed. Raditsu seemed like a well trained warrior, if this was their best then Bejita would die swiftly by his hand, or so he thought...

"Is this the best you have to offer?" questioned Reido.

"Baka, this is only a taste of what I have in store for you!"

Raditsu was bluffing and he knew it, he knew this would be his final battle, he was at maximum fighting power and still unable to land a single blow on his enemy, eventually he would tire and that would be his end. He searched for an opening, any opening, but the fates were not on his side this day...

"I am done toying with you Raditsu, I have more powerful enemies to engage!"

"Done with me!? So I have permission to kill you now? Shi ne!"

Raditsu lunged forward to find himself facing nothing, Reido had vanished, id a loud sickening crack snap Raditsu to awareness, Reido's foot lowered from his side revealing his bone protruding from his left wrist, Raditsu swung around with his good arm, ignoring the pain. Again, nothing, and again another crack, this time it was his right leg. Reido's punch had cracked his armor guarding his thighs and snapped that bone like a dry twig. Reido's movement were too quick for Raditsu to follow, he felt the sting of hundereds of punches pulverizing his abdomen, and soon he found himself on his back spitting out blood and tooth fragments; he could feel it, his end was near.

"Shimatta..." Raditsu gurgled around a mouthfull of blood.

"You are finished Raditsu."

Raditsu used what little energy he felt he had left, and tilted his head forward sending a searing pain into his broken jaw. All he saw was a red ball of ki, and the shadow of the man-tiger Reido behind it. With one exasperated last breath, he forced a smirk, at least he would die with honor to much more powerful warrior, he could be proud in that. Those were his last thoughts as his head dropped back to the ground and darkness enveloped him.

"Foolish Saiyajin, learn the lesson of your folly, and DIE."

Reido forced more power into the blast, he wanted to remove all traces of the Saiyajin, it was during this moment of almost hesitation that he looked straight ahead into fiery eyes that grasped one of his royal guardsmen by the neck. A small statured Saiyajin with the most evil smirk he had ever seen returned the stare and squeezed. Reido looked down at the face of his fallen comrade and saw it to be Phero, limp and lifeless in the hands of who could be only one man, the Saiyajin Ouji Bejita. Reido released the power in his palm and Raditsu was no more.

It was quiet, too quiet. And too open Shikerou thought. His team of six had encountered almost no resistance, one unlucky Torajin scout had met his demise at the hands of Bardok, the team's leader and father to Kakarotto, the second most powerful on the team. The power plant was unlike anything Shike had ever seen, perhaps similar to the turbine engine of an aircraft he thought, but just so immense, it was no wonder these things could draw energy from the very core of the planet. As much as he tried to fight it, he couldn't help but think of Izumi. He knew she wasn't in those pods; he could still feel her presense, so that was reassuring, but he knew any minute spent longer on this planet could be life or death, a risk he did not want his new mate to take. Shike wanted Izumi off this world, and out of danger, but currently there was nothing he could do. He followed closely in step with Kakarotto and Bardok, the other three keeping pace just behind him. The six warriors entered the giant steel beast, Shikerou was the first to hear the heavy breathing, and the first to sense the increase in power all around them...

"It's a trap."

Kakarotto looked back to Shike who had stopped moving.

"Hai, I can feel it too, let them come."

Before Shike could speak two Kienzan severed the heads of two of his Saiyajin counterparts. Bardok and Kakarotto spun around and fired blindly into the darkness, zazoken'd out of sight. Seconds later, two tiger-like bodies fell from above Shike, two gaping holes in their abdomens. Shikerou could feel the last remaining power, and it was immense. Kakarotto and Bardok had easily dispatched the other two, this one would be a different story.

"Reveal yourself!" Shikerou shouted.

Shikerou felt a boost in energy behind him and quickly leapt towards the wall. He narrowly dodged a blast of ki, the other Saiyajin taking the blast full on. Shikerou could smell burnt flesh and it filled him with revulsion. He fought the urge to vomit and felt for the power in the darkness, but was interrupted by a blast from another direction...he's fast, better take this outside. Shikerou ignited himself in ki and flew outside to escape the all encompassing darkness of the power plant. The bright sun illuminated the area outside the plant and he could feel the source of power hot on his trail. Bardok and Kakarotto were trailing just behind.

"Stand and fight, or are you a coward?" The Torajin yelled at him.

Shikerou didn't answer, but kept up his pace, hoping Kakarotto and Bardok would catch up and distract the Torajin.

"You have slain this entire planet, and now you will not stand and accept the consequence of your actions. Do you think I don't know who you are, Chikyuujin?"

Shikerou glanced back and saw Parukan keeping pace easily with him, Kakarotto just behind, and Bardok nowhere in sight. He was much larger than the other two Torajin, his frame was enormous, and his battle scars numerous. Shikerou could feel his immense power, and he knew it was greater than his own.

"I am aware of your allies Chikyuujin, I have chose to deal with you first."

deal with, and my name is Shikerou, not Chikyuujin!"

"Your name does not matter, in becoming a pet to these Saiyajin, you have lost whatever identity you once had, I am Parukan, and I will be your undoing."

"We'll see."

Shikerou reversed course, his fist drawn back. First he would test the resolve of this beast, how much he could really handle. Leading with his fist, energy coursing around him, he lunged. His fist connected, but the effect was not what he expected. Parukan caught his fist and closed his claws in on it, slicing cleaning into Shikerou's hand causing him to wince in pain. Shikerou brought up his left arm and attempted to strike, Parukan easily deflected it. Shike again tried with time aiming for his face with his left leg, once again Parukan caught it, and his claws sunk deeper into Shike's right hand. He was being man-handled and it angered him, he couldn't strike this beast, even at this close a range. Shikerou's situation was quickly becoming desperate when suddenly the grip loosened and he was free. Smoke rose from Parukans back as his eyes shifted towards Kakarotto whose arms were out-stretched from firing a blast of ki energy. He hovered a few yards back.
Parukan screamed, and ki enveloped both he and Shikerou. Shikerou was hurled away from Parukan by the sheer force and magnitude of his power increase. His body sailed through the air and he allowed it to go limp to minimize his damage when he hit something. That something turned out to be Bardok catching him in mid-air.

"Thank you Bardok."

"Save your thanks for when he is dead."

With that Bardok took off and let Shike hover towards the ground, his hand was bleeding and in pain, but it wasn't serious, a quick wave of ki cauterized the wounds, and Shike turned towards his enemy, the Torajin Parukan.

"Again with your cowardice Chikyuujin, I guess these Saiyajin have become fond of their pet."

"I am not a damn pet."

Shikerou's patience was growing thin, his ki ignited and enveloped him in the green aura, he was about to fly forward again to battle when a hand grasped his shoulder, it was Kakarotto.

"He's mine."

With that Kakarotto sped to battle, but Shike had to wonder if his power was enough to do it alone.

"Bejita."

"Reido."

There were no words neccessary only action, and Bejita was the first to strike. He sprang forward with lightning fast speed and connected with a punch that sent Reido reeling backwards. Bejita was a blur and instantly behind Reido cracking the creatures spine against his elbow, then driving Reido down into the soft Barusei soil with both fists. Bejita soared into the air and whipped his hand forward firing a series of blasts into the hole containing Reido. The entire landscape exploded with energy, and all those within the blast were no more. It was from this sky that Bejita had finally seen the whole battlefield. Bloody corpses dotted the landscape, a testament to the battle being fought, Bejita smiled at the fact that most of the bodies sported orange and white fur, a good sign to say the least. A few seconds passed before Bejita realized he had not received retaliation from Reido, had it been that easy?

"Ha! And this is the might fo the Torajin, defeated in three blows and to think I..."

His thoughts were interrupted by a fissure opening up in the ground beneath him, golden beams of energy pierced the surface and Reido roared to the surface engulfed in red ki, his shadow was all that was seen as he slammed into Bejita with incredible speed. Bejita soared farther into the sky attempting to recover from the blow, he used bukujutsu to stop and orient himself, but it was too late, Reido was upon him and crushed him with his backhand. The attack caught Bejita across the face and sent him spinning through the clouds, Reido in hot pursuit. Without letting up Reido began firing blast after blast surrounding Bejita in a torrent of ki energy.

A giant explosion followed changing the wind and sand blasting the forces on the ground. Reido hovered above the cloud and slowly advanced, fired two more blasts into the smoke, both exploded filling the cloud with light.

"The Saiyajin Prince....HA! An easy victory, I know not what my brother was worried about."

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

"Nani?"

Beams of light erupted from the center of the cloud sending the smoke in various directions. Bejita hovered in the midst of it all, surrounded by a blazing aura of ki, his Saiyajin smirk still in place, yet somewhat diminished. Reido was shocked, that technique had finished off many foes. Bejita gave him no time to think, in seconds he was on him and they locked in a test of strength. Their auras fluxuated ferociously whipping the wind around them, blades of excess energy cut the air. They were equally matched, Bejita forced his legs up and his knees into Reido's chest and snapped from the bind sending Reido spinning towards the ground. With a quick spin Bejita followed him to the ground, firmly planting him there, and then hovering to the surface. He lowered his hand, snapped his palm to a ninety degree angle and filled the crater with energy increase it's size even more. The blast went off and rocks whistled past Bejita and the warriors as the battle progressed.

"Where is Keikan, I want a real opponent?"

Now on the ground Bejita could tell their battle had taken a turn for the worse, although his Saiyajin army was strong, they were not as well trained, and this was evident as more and more of them succumbed to the deadly claws of the Torajin, it was time to enact the true plan, he began gathering the neccessary energy...

Izumi sat and watched the sky, no signal yet. She wondered how they would overcome an obstacle such as Keikan, a warrior formidible enough to frighten Prince Bejita's father. More than that she thought about Shikerou and how he was fairing. There were so many strong warriors in the Torajin force, had he fallen to one of them? She couldn't feel his energy, but even feeling Bejita's was hard at this range for her. She hoped she would get the chance to see him again...

"Kakarotto!"

Bardok shouted to his son as he was blasted from the sky. The the effort was a valiant one, he was simply no match for the warrior Parukan. Another blast racked Kakarotto's body sending smoldering to the ground below.

"Kakarotto! No!"

Shikerou shouted as the blast connected...Why do I care, Kakarotto is the closest thing that I have to a friend, but they are more like my jailers then my friends. Why do I care so much? Shikerou tucked his arms in at his sides, preparing for the familiar manuever he had used in previous battles, his ultimate technique, if this wouldn't finish Parukan, than Shikerou was worthless in this fight to begin with. Shikerou lowered his hands to his thighs, his palms facing towards Parukan. Curling his fingewrs inward he began to gather energy, white orbs of ki furiously spun in his hands, steadily growing in size. He thrust his arms upward forming an open clam shape with his hands, palms together facing Parukan. The two orbs of energy gradually merged into one much larger one and continued to grow in intensity. Shikerou looked up and took aim, he noticed Parukan turn to his direction, obviously sensing the growing power. Kuso, he sees me, Shike thought to himself...

"Kiryoku..."

A wave of energy unlike any he had seen before swept over Shikerou absorbing his energy and melting his armor. The heat was so intense, fortunately Shikerou's energy absorbed the majority of the blast sparring his life, bot not his limbs. Shikerou was thrown back, his arms and legs burnt and bruised. His body slammed into the nearby cliff-side collapsing it on him, and he was buried under the rubble.

Bardok watched as dust and smoke rose from the rock pile that contained Shikerou, he felt no remorse, after all he was just another Chikyuujin, and he had served his purpose, his son was another matter, Parukan had him by the throat, and was going for the kill...

"Stop!"

Parukan tooked his hand from Kakarottos throat and allowed him to slump to the ground, it was only then that he looked behind Bardok and saw a bright light in the sky, it was not one of Wakusei Baru's suns, just a bright light that sort of resembled...moonlight.

"Your fight is with me..."

Bardock felt strange, and he saw the puzzling look on Parukan's face and turned to see it, the false moon in the sky. His Saiyajin smirk returned as he spread his arms and legs out towards the light absorbing it's energies, feeding on its power. He felt his heart accelerate, and his breathing, he was transforming, and the same was happening to Kakarotto on the ground despite his almost unconscious state. He turned to Parukan and grinned revealing his blood red eyes. Parukan could have sworn he was seeing things, Bardok seemed to be growing larger, and so did Kakarotto...

"Well Reido," Bejita glared down at the Torajin warrior glaring right back at him, "It seems as though we are too evenly matched for conventional methods to succeed, so lets try something unconventional."

"Nani? Baka, what do you mean unconventional?"

Bejita's hands began to glow a soft white...

"You know what happens when a Saiyajin sees the moonlight don't you?"

Reido crossed his arms in obvious impatience, with a war waging around him he hardly wanted to waste time answering foolish questions.

"Of course I do, you transform into big monkeys. It's the middle of the day, what is your point?"

Bejita smiled a sinister smile, and lifted his palm upwards.

"Ah but what if one of us had learned to control the power of the moon, and we kept that power in the palm of...MY HAND!"

Bejita thrust his arm upward and the shot raced into the sky like a bullet. His fist closed and the blast exploded spreading the clouds for miles in opposing directions forming a vast clear space in the sky. The energy in the atmosphere began to swirl and return to it's core where a ball of light formed. Bejitas breathing became heavy and his eyes red, his heart-rate accelerated drastically, and he turned his back to Reido to face the moonlight. His body grew in size drastically and Reido could feel is power growing immensely.

"It can't be..."

Reido was left speechless as all the Saiyajin on the battlefield began to transform. In a matter of seconds the battlefield was littered with giant Apes wearing Saiyajin battle armor. Before his force could respond they were destroyed, Reido could hardly believe his eyes as beams of purple and blue energy eminated from the mouths of the giant apes. The beams spread across the battlefield consuming the tiny Torajin warriors who hardly had the time to respond, it was a massacre, and Reido knew he had led them into it.

Kakarotto's chest plate expanded as he grew fur and gained size, both he and Bardok were growing, transforming into the giant Oozaru, the form of Saiyajin that had spread the fear of them throughout the universe. Their faces dissappeared and red eyes glimmered in the sunlight, hair growing on their arms and legs as they continually gained girth and height until they towered angrily over Parukan. The real fight was about to begin.

The rubble at the base of the cliff began to move as Shikerou fought his way to the surface, he was burned and bloody, but not beaten. The energy torrent had knocked him quite a distance, and sent his mind for a loop, was he seeing things or were there two giant apes ripping the power plant apart.

Right Shike he thought to himself two giant apes appeared from nowhere and are doing your job for you. That last blast must have hit harder than I thought.

Then it hit him. The power he sensed was immense, and familiar...It couldn't be...could it? He immediately ignited in ki and took off toward the two apes.

Lemme know what you think so far!
